Earthy sea urchin spikes dangle beneath hand textured copper in these long, dramatic earrings. The spikes have a soft mocha brown hue with subtle hints of coppery-orange. I wire wrapped them in solid copper wire and suspended them to dangle beneath copper circles. They have an edgy, earthy, organic vibe & will make a bold statement. Despite their long length, they are relatively lightweight and comfortable to wear.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 3-3/8” from top of niobium (hypoallergenic) ear wires and 1” at widest point. I created the shapes out of solid copper sheet; hand textured the metal; then oxidized it for an earthy, antiqued finish.
