Copper Dangle Earrings with African Turquoise - Hand Forged Metal Jewelry

These handmade earrings feature uniquely textured copper dangles accented with African turquoise stones. The stones are a beautiful shade of blue and green with a subtle, natural matrix of brown and black veining.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/2" from top of niobium (hypoallergenic ear wires) and 1-1/8" at widest point. I created the shapes out of solid copper sheet; hand stamped the texture; then antiqued them for a warm, rustic glow. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure similar to turquoise - with hues of green and blue, along with black and brown inclusions.
