Big, bold and earthy - these hand forged copper earrings have a rich, hammered texture and an open pierced design. They have a modern, edgy vibe that makes a unique statement. I created the shapes out of solid copper sheet; hammered and pierced the metal; then hand filed all edges until meticulously smooth. The copper was oxidized and polished for a warm, rustic glow; then sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/2” from top of ear wires and 1-1/2" in width. They are shown with copper ear wires. If you prefer niobium (hypoallergenic) wires - chose that option at checkout. The total length will be slightly shorter with niobium wires. Earrings are signed on the back with my initials.
