This one-of-a-kind necklace features a large Australian Noreena jasper stone. This stone is known for its dramatic abstract and geometric patterns and is found only in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The stone used in this piece has a natural pattern consisting of hues of deep burgundy-red, fiery orange and grey. It is a beautiful chunky stone with a nice high polish and a great, abstract shape. I wrapped the stone in copper wire and oxidized it for an earthy, antiqued finish. The stone is equally gorgeous on both sides – so it was wrapped where it can be worn on either side. (See all photos for alternate sides).
MEASUREMENTS: Stone pendant measures 3-1/8” in length (from top of bail to bottom of stone) and 1-3/8” at widest point. It comes on an 18” copper chain with a sturdy, *easy to fasten* hook & eye closure.
