This handcrafted necklace features a natural green jade gemstone accented with a gold brass bail. The stone is carved into a teardrop shade and is a beautiful shade of olive green. It comes on an 18” antiqued brass chain with sturdy, easy-to-fasten hook & eye closure. The chain can be worn with other pendants - so it is like getting 2 pieces of jewelry in one! *** Note: any lines you see in the stone are just natural inclusions and not cracks.
MEASUREMENTS: 2-3/8” in length (from top of bail to bottom of stone) and 1-3/8” at widest point. I created a bail out of solid gold brass sheet; hand textured the metal; then oxidized it to enhance the detail. The stone is securely fastened to the bail with twists of gold brass wire. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
