This one of a kind necklace features a natural Orthoceras fossil stone with a sterling silver bail suspended from a black rubber cord necklace. This particular fossil has a brown hue - which is unusual, because these fossils are typically found in more black tones. This type of fossil is found in the Sahara Desert of Morocco where they were once ocean dwellers. Their shells were preserved in the marble in which they are found today. The design is unisex -- so it can be worn by either a man or a woman. Makes a great gift for a rock hound or natural fossil / stone lover!
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 2-7/8" in length (from top of bail to bottom of stone) and 3/4" at widest point. It comes on an 18” black rubber cord necklace with a sterling silver lobster claw closure. The necklace can be worn with other pendants - so it is like getting 2 pieces of jewelry in one!
